About the Team
We are building the alarm system for e-commerce operations.
Our mission is to detect and disrupt the risks—from delivery fraud to "Item Not Received" (INR) claims—that create friction between merchants, carriers, and 3PLs. We sit at the intersection of e-commerce, logistics, and fraud, turning massive, complex data streams into the clear-cut intelligence our clients need to operate safely.
As we partner with major enterprise clients and carriers, we are ingesting massive, complex data streams. We now need a dedicated technical leader to own the bridge between our partners' systems and our platform.
About the Role
As our Founding Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical translator and strategic partner who makes complex integrations feel simple. This isn't an internal-facing builder role; you are the technical expert who faces our most critical partners.
You will be the dedicated technical owner for clients like PostNL. You'll lead technical discovery, manage the integration roadmap, and be the expert in the room who "always finds a smart way to solve it."
Your challenge is to build a smooth, reliable, and secure "on-ramp" for our partners' data, protecting our internal engineering team's roadmap while ensuring our partners' success. This is a greenfield opportunity to build our entire integration playbook from scratch.
In this role, you will:
Own the technical integration: Lead the full integration lifecycle—from initial technical calls and scoping to building, deploying, and maintaining data integrations.
Be the partner's technical expert: Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise partners, translating their needs into clear requirements for our internal team.
Build the "bridge": Write and maintain production-grade integration scripts, data-mapping logic, and microservices to connect partner APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) to our platform.
Troubleshoot and solve: Be the first line of defense for any partner integration issues, debugging and solving problems in real-time.
Protect the core team: Act as the "bad guy" who protects our internal roadmap, and the "good guy" who finds creative solutions for the partner.
Create the playbook: Document everything you do and build a scalable, repeatable integration process for all future partners.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 4+ years of experience in a technical, client-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
Are fluent in Python and SQL and have deep, hands-on experience with various APIs (REST, gRPC, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).
Are a brilliant communicator. You can effortlessly translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with client engineering teams.
Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (especially GCP) and infrastructure.
Thrive on partner interaction. You get energized by solving a client's problem and are comfortable leading high-stakes technical calls.
Are obsessively curious and resilient. You know the "first answer is often not the right answer" and get energized when a problem gets tough.
Are a "builder" who "shows, not tells." You prove how good you are by shipping elegant, working solutions, not by talking about them.
Thrive on autonomy and ownership. You want "guidance, not guardrails." We'll give you a problem, and we know you'll find a smart way to solve it.
About Guzco
We are a small team of passionate, curious people dedicated to solving hard problems. Our culture is our foundation:
We hire the best and let them work. We give you the freedom, trust, and tools to build end-to-end solutions.
We go deeper. We're critical thinkers who obsess over the details and know that the best solution is rarely the first one.
We are partners, not "resources." We create an atmosphere where everyone talks to everyone. Your voice and your ideas are critical from day one.
We are building the "best infrastructure" for our team to create their best work, with no bureaucracy.
If you are a curious, resilient builder who wants to own a core part of a new product, we would love to talk.
